What is the UYAP Citizen Portal?
The UYAP (National Judiciary Informatics System) Citizen Portal is an electronic service that allows citizens of the Republic of Turkey to track their lawsuit and enforcement files in judicial and administrative authorities over the internet.
Through this portal, you can examine the stages of the files to which you are a party, hearing dates, and the documents in the file without physically going to the courthouse. It brings the justice system to your fingertips, ensuring transparency and ease of access.
Designed by the Ministry of Justice, UYAP integrates all courthouses, public prosecutor's offices, and enforcement offices into a single network.
How to Log In Securely
Access to the portal is securely provided through e-Government (e-Devlet) credentials, mobile signature, or e-signature. Logging in via e-Government is the most common method.
Once logged in, users are greeted with a dashboard displaying pending tasks, upcoming hearings, and notifications from active cases.
It is highly recommended not to share your login credentials with unauthorized third parties, as the portal contains highly sensitive personal and financial data.
Viewing Case Documents and Expert Reports
Users can navigate to the 'My Files' section to view both active and closed cases. By selecting a specific case, you can access the document index.
You can download non-confidential documents, read petitions filed by the opposing party, and view expert (bilirkişi) reports as soon as they are uploaded to the system.
This allows parties to stay informed in real-time, greatly reducing the delays traditionally associated with postal notifications.
Monitoring Enforcement (İcra) Proceedings
Apart from standard lawsuits, the UYAP Citizen Portal is extensively used for tracking enforcement and bankruptcy files.
Citizens can check if there is an active execution order against them, view the debt amounts, and even make secure payments online via the integrated VakıfBank payment system to stop execution proceedings.
